BBQ Beef Sandwich
Equipment
- 1 Slow cooker
Ingredients
- 1 3-4lb beef chuck roast
- 3-4 tbsp liquid smoke
- 4 tbsp BBQ seasoning
- 12 buns
- 1 bbq sauce
Instructions
- In a crockpot place, the meat in the bottom. Drizzle with the liquid smoke. Rub all over until coated. Sprinkle with seasoning until completely coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, depending on your cooker and thickness. Remove the meat for shredding. Reserve approximately 1 cup of juice and discard the rest. Shred the beef with two forks and return to crockpot to mix in juice.
- At this point you can add as much BBQ sauce you like or leave it for each person to add what they like. You can also toast the buns if desired.
