Homestyle Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 16 oz bag of tri-color pre-shredded cabbage chopped up finely, if desired
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup mayo
- 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar white or apple cider
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Whisk all the ingredients minus the bag of coleslaw in a large bowl.

- Add the coleslaw and mix until well coated, Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or even overnight. Serve as a topping or a side.

Notes
- Make up to two days ahead
- Keeps in fridge for 3-4 days
- Use pre-shredded cabbage for quick prep. Leave it as is or chop it finer
