- 1 3-4lb beef chuck roast
- 3-4 tbsp liquid smoke
- 4 tbsp BBQ seasoning
- 12 buns
- 1 bbq sauce
In a crockpot place, the meat in the bottom. Drizzle with the liquid smoke. Rub all over until coated. Sprinkle with seasoning until completely coated.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, depending on your cooker and thickness. Remove the meat for shredding. Reserve approximately 1 cup of juice and discard the rest. Shred the beef with two forks and return to crockpot to mix in juice.
At this point you can add as much BBQ sauce you like or leave it for each person to add what they like. You can also toast the buns if desired.
